Grand Taxi
The fastest way to travel between cities in Morocco is by a taxi. Therefore, you can simply ask anyone from anywhere in Morocco to show you the grand taxis, they usually need 6 people so they can drive. Also, you do not need to book in advance because there are many of them especially in big towns or cities.
Buses
There are many buses that will pick you up to the Sahara desert. However, the best and the only one that picks up passangers is called Supratour. We recommend you book a ticket in advance especially in occasions like the new years eve. There is one that drives from Marrakech to Merzouga at 7 am. Also, there is another one that drives from Fes at the same time. It is better to contact or call them in advance.
National Plane
If you want to avoid cars, there are few national airports. For instance, there are ones from Marrakech, Casablanca, and Fes to Errachidia. The latter is the nearest airport to Merzouga sahara desert. The tickets are once or twice a week. Therefore, it’s better to book in advance, a week before or so.
