Day 1: Meet Up - Camel Trekking - Sunset - Camping

Your overnight camel trek in Merzouga begins around late afternoon with a warm welcome. First, we will meet you at an agreed location in Merzouga. If you are driving, we will help you park your car in a safe place. From there, we head straight to the camels to start your desert adventure.

First, you will ride a camel through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Along the way, we stop at one of the biggest dunes in the area to enjoy the desert views and the sunset. After that, we continue the camel ride to reach the desert camp.

At the camp, you will check in and have some free time to relax, take a shower, or simply walk around and discover the camp sites. After having dinner, we gather around the campfire for a Berber music session with drums and dancing. Finally, you can conclude the night by walking up the dunes to watch the stars.

Day 2: Breakfast - Camel Trek/4x4 Ride - Back to Meeting Point

Since you are in the middle of the dunes, we recommend waking up early to catch the sunrise. The desert is usually quiet and peaceful in the morning, and the views are different. During this time, you can try sandboarding down the dunes if you like.

Then, we will serve you a full breakfast at the camp, and you will have time to take a hot shower and get ready for the day.

Finally, when it is time to leave, you can choose to return to the meeting point by camel or by 4×4 car. This is where your Merzouga Overnight Camel Trek ends.

To confirm your booking with us, we require a deposit via PayPal. We will send you an invoice once you are ready to confirm. The rest of the payment is made in cash when you meet the driver. You can also pay with your credit card, with an extra 5% bank fee.

Cancellation Policies

Your money will be refunded only if you cancel the tour 3 days before arrival (3-day money-back guarantee). If the tour is postponed, your deposit will still be available for future use.
