This is a 2-day tour from Fes to discover Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco. It starts from your accommodation or the airport in Fes. On the way to the blue city, you will visit Meknes and its main attractions, like Lhdim Square, Bab Mansour, and Qara prison. Moreover, you will also visit the Roman ruins, Volubilis. You will spend the night in Chefchaouen, then have enough time to explore its main attractions.
We will start the first day of the 2-day trip from Fes to Chefchaouen by picking you up from your accommodation or airport in Fes. First, we will drive through Meknes, an imperial city of Morocco. Here, we will make various stops to discover the main attractions in the city. To start with, we will take you to see the square of Lhdim and Bab Mansour. After that, we will drive to explore the underground prison of Qara and the decorated Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the city’s founder. Next, we will drive to visit Lhri and Shrij Souanis.
After having lunch in Meknes, we will drive to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will have time to explore the area and learn about its history.
Finally, we will hit the road to the blue city. Arriving there, we will drop you off at your accommodation to check in and leave your luggage. We recommend that you climb up to the Spanish mosque for the sunset and the view of the city. Coming your way back down, you can pass by the Uta Hmmam square for dinner and street performances.
You will have a free morning in Chefchaouen to explore its blue streets. The city in general is an attraction to visit; each street and corner holds unique decorations and colors of blue. Some of the attractions that you can visit are the Utat Lhmam square, the Kasbah, and the Ras El Ma waterfalls. Chefchaouen is a small city that you can visit in 4 to 5 hours maximum.
Finally, after you have lunch, we will drive back to Fes through the Rif mountains. We will drop you off at your accommodation or the airport. End of the 2 Day Trip from Fes to Chefchaouen.

The tour usually starts around 8:00 AM in Fes and ends around 4-6 PM on the second day back in Fes.
For 1 to 4 pax, we use an SUV, either a Land Cruiser, Toyota Prado, or s Mitsubishi sport. For 5 to 8 pax, we use a minivan. For more than that, we use a minibus.
