Our driver, primary guide, and now friend L’Houcine, was prompt, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, a great photographer (who knew all the best spots), and honestly the reason the trip was so good. He spoke English, was warmly greeted by the locals at all spots, very attentive to our needs (bathroom stops, food, water) and made sure the trip was truly catered towards us. We learned so much about Moroccan culture and really feel honored and lucky to have spent so much time with him. The stops along the way were breathtakingly beautiful, the people were all very nice, and the food was wonderful. We also really liked our personal guide through Ait-Benhaddou, our camel guide and sand board coach Hassan, and our welcoming host at the Berber camp Hamid. They were all great. We have been on excursions in Austria, Peru, Costa Rica, and many more, and we can honestly tell you that Touring in Morocco is the best we have ever seen.
